My story: After 31 years in the trenches of the corporate world I retired. I spent 7 years working in an office environment of what was then Yellow Pages and then the remaining 24 as a technician in the field. I enjoyed working with people and the servicing of customers but as with most of any corporate environment things became more and more uncomfortable as you get older. The reality is no matter where you fit in with your company you are just a tool and the older you get the more costly you are. In truth I probably would have stayed about another 4 or 5 years but the company I worked for was looking to trim the work force. Once you have the years and time it’s better for them to bring in younger people who will accept less benefits and a lower salary. If you are living paycheck to paycheck and haven’t saved properly like the majority I strongly advise you to be proactive and turn the tide for you and your loved ones. Not wanting to work for anyone else I decided to take the bull by the horns and go into entrepreneurship. In this day and age job security is a thing of the past. It’s about as safe as standing on a cloud. The only sure bet is to take responsibility and bet on yourself. Become an entrepreneur.
I help entrepreneurs start & grow their own home business they can run using the internet from anywhere in the world. I have a vision of building an army of enthusiastic ambitious people dedicated to helping others achieve freedom through entrepreneurship.
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
